Welcome to the SPC/NSSL Spring Program 2003


The Spring Program is a part of the NOAA Hazardous Weather Testbed.

Objectives: 1) Explore the utility of SREF systems to provide unique and meaningful guidance in

operational severe weather forecasting, and 2) examine the ability of new high resolution models

to predict convective initiation and evolution, as it relates to improving watch lead time.
